The Bedwetter.

Have you ever had a dream that your dream-self needs to pee but you won't let your dream-self go pee because the dream has been freaken fantastic?

Your dream-self keeps looking for a damn toilet to go sit on so you put up walls or distractions in your dream because you know that if you pee, you may either WET YOUR BED or not return to the awesome dream you were having before you had to pee. Whatever the case, the dream that was once awesome has turned into a dream where you are trying to block your dream-self from urinating. Not so pleasant.

Soon your dream-self becomes so overwhelmed with the need to urinate that it decides to go right there where they are standing which causes you to jolt awake because you don't want to wet your bed.

If this happens, you'll find that it's almost impossible to go back to the original awesome dream.

When I was younger, my dream-self would just pee in my dream and continue on her way back to the awesome dream but then I'd wake up a few minutes later drenched in urine. Ugh. My mom used to get so pissed (hahaha I made a pun!) at me because I couldn't control my bladder.

Sometimes I hate my dream-self.

Emergency Contact.

Yesterday I sent a message out to my some of my friends letting them know I had gotten a new number.

One friend responded, "Damnit. I literally just put ur old number down as my emergency contact on something. Oh, btw, ur my emergency contact."

I felt so honored! I don't think anybody's ever thought I was responsible enough to be an emergency contact. I know that the chances are slim that I'll ever be called if he was in an emergency, but it's the thought that counts. He thought that I would come through for him if he, God forbid, was to be in some freak accident.

Then I got to thinking, who did I put down as my emergency contact? Probably my parents. But they don't live in New York with me. That was probably dumb right? How do other people who don't live close to their family do it? Who do they list? How do you go about choosing an emergency contact? Do I have anybody here in New York who I know would absolutely come through for me if I needed it?

I know it shouldn't be that serious because, it's just an emergency contact number; it's a number that probably will never be called, but in the event that something does happen, I just wouldn't want to be alone.
